What is Module 1?
A structured online course covering the 36-hour didactic education component aligned with the BCIA Blueprint of Knowledge for Neurofeedback.
Module 1 is delivered asynchronously through the IFEN learning portal. The curriculum combines text, figures, videos, exercises and knowledge checks and can be completed independently in English or German.

Each cohort includes two free live sessions for questions, orientation and exchange. These two free sessions are available only during the participant's cohort month.
What you will study
The 36-hour curriculum is organised into ten competence levels and follows the BCIA Blueprint of Knowledge for Neurofeedback.

IFEN can support participants with the additional steps, documentation and preparation required for their individual BCIA pathway.
Current 2026 cohorts
One cohort starts each month, with a maximum of 12 participants per cohort. The current series runs in September, October and November 2026 and then pauses.
