ISF2 – Current developments and in-depth applications

Waves small

Infra‑Slow‑Fluctuation (ISF) Neurofeedback has developed dynamically in recent years – both in terms of clinical strategies and new protocol settings and network approaches. In this advanced seminar in June, we will build on the ISF2-Workshop starting in March, but going a step further: The focus is on the the latest clinical considerations, protocols and settings to explore these concepts together and apply them to the participants' practical experience. A particular focus is placed on working with trauma-related disorders and on concepts such as the "Bayesian brain," the idea of the brain as a predictive, probabilistic system.

Since the work with ISF is continuously being refined, the exact content is deliberately left somewhat open: We will refer to the latest settings and concepts orienting, which up to the time of the WorkshopThe aim is to present and discuss the available information in a practice-oriented format. The goal is to give experienced ISF users the opportunity to deepen their work, contribute questions from their own practice, and benefit from the latest developments.

Possible topics and focus areas

  • Further development of the ISF2 concepts presented in March and their application to complex clinical cases
  • new or adapted protocol settings and their clinical applications
  • Discussion of case studies from the participants and joint clinical decision-making.
  • Space for questions about specific settings, fine-tuning, and dealing with challenging reactions

target audience

The Workshop refers to Therapists and practitioners who have already completed ISF1 and ideally also ISF2 and those who want to keep up with current developments. This is especially relevant for colleagues who are already working with ISF in practice and are open to new clinical ideas, network concepts, and refined protocols.

target of Workshops

The participants should after the Workshop:

  • have a better understanding of the latest ISF approaches and settings,
  • and gain more confidence in adapting ISF flexibly and individually to complex symptom constellations.
