Professional profile
Between 1995 and 1998, he completed his training as a registered nurse specializing in neurology, psychiatry, and addiction medicine. Since then, he has over 25 years of professional experience in inpatient psychiatric care, including 16 years in a closed adult psychiatric ward.
During this time, he gained extensive experience in psychiatric nursing and in supporting patients with severe mental illnesses.
Clinical experience
His work was particularly characterized by his experience in acute psychiatric settings. For many years he worked on a closed acute ward, developing extensive expertise in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and managing psychiatric emergencies.
An important part of his work is the close collaboration within multi-professional teams as well as intensive relationship building with patients in difficult life situations.
Neurofeedback and current activity
In 2020 he completed his training as a Neurofeedback-Therapists at the Institute for EEG-Neurofeedback (IFEN). Since then, he has worked independently and freelance as a managing director and Neurofeedback-Therapist.
His work is connected to the center reset – Competence Center for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry connected to the facility, where he uses neurotherapeutic methods to support self-regulation and psychological stabilization. A modern therapy building was also constructed there in 2024–2025.
