Dr. Georg Handwerker
- Dr. Handwerker is a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine in Passau.
- He studied in Würzburg and worked at the University Children's Hospital in Würzburg under Prof. Dr. Bartels and Prof. Dr. Speer, at the Third Order Children's Hospital in Passau under Prof. Dr. Staudt and briefly at the University Children's Hospital in Erlangen under Prof. Dr. Rascher.
- In Würzburg and Passau he helped set up the children’s sleep laboratory at the clinic.
- His work focuses on the areas of neuropediatrics, Neurofeedback, sleep medicine, endocrinology and diabetes.
- Support of local schools for disabled people (primary and secondary schools).
- Since 2003, he has been a lecturer, together with Prof. Dr. Staudt and others, in the children's EEG courses of the German Academy for Developmental Rehabilitation (DAER).
- He has been training doctors in the Passau EEG course (German Academy for Developmental Rehabilitation) for over 12 years and is a scientific advisor to the German Narcolepsy Society.
- He has held the EEG certificate of the German Society for Clinical Neurophysiology since 2004.
