Dr. Margarita Theodorou

Dr. Margarita Theodorou graduated from the Special Education Department of the Sofia University Kliment Ochrichtski" in 1992 and continued her postgraduate studies in the field of Communication Disorders in 2000. She obtained her PhD in 2012 in the field of Language Pathology. Since 1996 she worked as a Speech Therapist at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Cyprus.

In 2013, Margarita Theodorou got certified as a Neurofeedback Therapist by the Institute for EEGNeurofeedback (IFEN) in Munich and in the following years she became a Neurofeedback Trainer herself. As an IFEN Lecturer she has organized a series of workshops for Neurotherapists in Cyprus and Greece.

She has given talks at international conferences, as well as in seminars and workshops in Cyprus and abroad and has published in international scientific journals.

Η Δρ. Μαργαρίτα Θεοδώρου αποφοίτησε το 1992 από το Τμήμα Ειδικής Εκπαίδευσης υ Πανεπιστημίου Σόφιας « Κλίμεντ Όχριτσκι» και συνέχισε το 2000 τις μεταπτυχιακές του σπουδές στον τομέα των επικοινωνιακών διαταραχώ ν. Απέκτησε το διδακτορικό της δίπλωμα το 2012 στον τομέα της Λογοπαθολογ ίας. 1996 ς Λογοπαθολόγος.

Το 2013 απέκτησε δίπλωμα πιστοποιημένου θεραπευτή Νευρονάδρασης του Ι νστιτούτου Νευροανάδρασης Μονάχου και στα επόμενα χρόνια εκπαιδευτής σε θέματα Νευροανάδρασης. Έχει διοργανώσει εκ μέρος του Ινστιτούτου σειρά εκπαιδεύσεις Νευρο θεραπευτών στην Κύπρο και στην Ελλάδα. 

Έχει παρουσιάσει σε διεθνών συνεδρίων, καθώς και σε σεμινάρια και ημε ρίδες Πανεπιστημίων στην Κύπρο και στο εξωτερικό και έχει δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά.
