Thomas Feiner is the founder (2008) and head of the Institute for EEG-Neurofeedback (IFEN) and has over 25 years of experience in the treatment of ADHD, stress, depression, addiction, and burnout. In his work as NeurofeedbackAs a therapist, he combines, among other things, tDCS, photobiomodulation, and NLP. He has also successfully coached numerous top athletes, executives, and artists. TrainingDeveloped programs for children with learning difficulties and numerous international Workshops with leading figures in neuroscience – such as Prof. Chiarenza or Dr. Thomas F. Collura.
The IFEN concept he developed has enabled many therapists and trainers in Germany and Europe to be successful in the field of Neurofeedback to work.
Thomas Feiner is also very active in brain research, focusing on peak performance, meditation, and accelerated learning. At his institute, he supports neuroscientific studies and the development of advanced technologies. Neurofeedback-Protocols, together with a team of neurologists, neuropsychologists, and IT experts in the field of neuroscience. He is the author and co-author of scientific publications and regularly speaks at international conferences and congresses. His lively presentation style is considered inspiring and sparks enthusiasm for Neurofeedback, EEG neuroimaging and current medical developments.
Furthermore, Thomas Feiner is the developer and initiator of the test software CAPITO.
CAPITO – an acronym for "Cognitive and Psychophysiological Test Operations" – was developed specifically for trainers, therapists, and clinicians to analyze cognitive performance and emotional states. Furthermore, it enables the assessment of information processing in the brain using event-related potentials (ERPs). Since 2017, CAPITO has been used in research projects by, among others, Dr. Estate Sokhadze (Clemson University), Prof. Chiarenza, and Dr. Carlos Zalaquett (Pennsylvania State University). Thomas Feiner holds several patents for products he has developed.
Since 2016, he and his brain mapping team have been working on a large-scale study investigating the human brain during various meditation practices. To this end, he travels to different countries to build an international EEG database of meditators.
