How high are the course fees
How high are the course fees (training course for a IFEN certified neurofeedback therapist)?
- Module 1 - 5-day-Course: 1750,00 €.
- Individual days can also be booked. 300,00 € per person. Please contact us, if you wish to book individual days.
- Module 2 - Practical course: 5 units of 90,00 € each = 750,00 € for Module 2
- Module 3 - Supervision: 5 units of 90,00 € each = 750,00 € for Module 3
- Module 4 - Examination: 250,00 €
- With inhouse courses flat rates apply, that have an appropriate discount depending on the number of participants.
What are the requirements for the course and the occupation?
In truth nothing else than an interest in this fascinating method and the readiness to learn new things. Neurofeedback is primarily suitable for persons from health care professions, but persons with educational occupations are also welcome. There is also an ever increasing number of people willing to learn this method, to be able to treat themselves at home. We can fulfill this wish only if you are willing to have professional therapeutic support.
I'm not savvy with computers - can I still learn neurofeedback?
The operation of the software is easy to understand and can be learnt by non-tech savvy persons.
Are there further education points?
Usually can submit your certificate in order to attain further education points. Here you can find further information.
How many people can share a place in the practical course?
A maximum of two people can share a place in the practical course. Thus the costs are cut in half.
However, only one person must pay the total amount. The second participant must be named in the online registration. IFEN has no influence on how the participants divide the costs among themselves - this is left to you.
Where do I register for the practical course and supervision?
Online, by phone or by Mail?" The practical course and supervision must be booked online on this website. The procedure is the same as with the registration to a course.
When does the examination take place?
The examination is completed at the beginning of the practical course.
Is there a option to first finish the practical course, then the supervision and than the examination separately?
The examination must be completed in the practical course. Only there is the supervision of the overseer of the practical course possible.
The examination can take place at the end of the practical course in agreement with the overseer of the practical course, but only as long as its done in the romms of the overseer.
How high are the costs for the appropriate neurofeedback devices?
Neurofeedback devices are affordable. Good devices are medical products, and together with the software start from 3500,00 €.
Do health insurance funds pay for neurofeedback treatments?
Occupational therapists can use neurofeedback as a part of the overall treatment. Physicians and psychotherapists can bill neurofeedback i.a. as behavioral therapy.
Is the training connected to certain devices and/or systems?
You can work with your own neurofeedback equipment, but should wait with the purchase, since we can offer you a custom-made solution based on our experience.
How much does a neurofeedback session cost on average?
As a private service the price is between 40,00 and 100,00 €. The price structuring depends on many factors. The geographical location is also of consequence. A QEEG can cost up to 600,00 €.
How many treatments are necessary and does the therapy successes last?
Usually, the therapy shows succsess after only 10 sessions. But it takes 20 more sessions for the improvements to stabilize. Depending upon the severity of the disorder, more or less sessions will be needed. Most patients experience a durable improvement of their symptoms.
