Yoga workshop with yoga master Prof. Sri Raghuram from SVYASA Yoga University Bangalore (India)
About the history, theory, and practice of traditional yoga
The KWA Klinik Stift Rottal will offer its annual yoga workshop this year again in collaboration with the Institute for EEG Neurofeedback, together with the world-famous yoga master N.V. Raghuram from the Swami Vivekananda Yoga University in Bangalore / India.
Yoga Is More Than Just a Physical Workout
It is important to know the historical background and development of yoga with its growing popularity. Many do not know that yoga was initially a purely religious practice. Only later did practitioners focus more on meditation techniques and physical exercises.
Yoga is currently used as a form of complementary alternative or integrative therapy. This workshop, on the other hand, gives a deeper insight into traditional yoga, its origin, theory and practice.
About the Workshop
From March 6th to March 8th, you will get a unique opportunity to practice and meditate with an Indian Yoga Master on the premises of KWA Klinik Stift Rottal. Thomas F. Feiner will be on site as a representative of IFEN and will initially report on his research on EEG and meditation.
During the meditation, seminar participants also have the opportunity to have their EEG measured. Thanks to the scientific analysis of our IFEN director and EEG and QEEG expert Thomas F. Feiner, you gain insight into your meditation practice.
Dr. med. Christoph Garner, former chief physician of the KWA clinic, will also be present. Among other things, he will help with the translation of the English-language content into German. Dr. Garner is also active as an IFEN lecturer and a renowned expert in neurology and EEG measurements.
At the end of the second day, Shilpa Abhiram will perform traditional Indian dances.
The price also includes delicious vegetarian-Indian meals.
