Workshop beim IFEN - Next Generation Neurofeedback

Nadia Hristova

Nadia Hristova is a cognitive neuroscientist and neuropsychologist working in the field of applied neuroscience since 2005. Nadia’s involvement in neurofeedback started with a stroke rehabilitation project during her studies at the University of Osnabrück, Germany. Intrigued by the positive outcome of this project, Nadia went on to train with Dr Doerte Klein and joined her busy neurotherapy clinic in Hannover, Germany. There Nadia gained valuable experience in designing therapy plans and supervising neuro-training sessions of a wide range of clients presenting with various affective, cognitive and motor symptoms. Following a period of further studies at the Ruhr-University of Bochum and clinical and research work at academic and clinical settings in Germany and in the UK, Nadia moved to the private sector, providing qEEG consultancy and neurofeedback mentoring services for individual therapists and companies and lecturing for the European Institute of Biofeedback and Applied Neuroscience.

In 2016 Nadia founded the Bright Brain Centre London to implement her vision of 100% personalised neurotherapy. Nadia’s unique approach combining  neurofeedback training and qEEG-guided non-invasive brain stimulation, her experience, knowledge and commitment have since brightened many brains and changed many lives for better.

Nadia is a certified neurofeedback therapist with training from BCIA, Stress Therapy Solutions, SAN and European Institute of Biofeedback and Applied Neuroscience. She is fortunate to have trained with world leading experts in the field of qEEG and neurofeedback, such as Dr Tom Collura, Dr Jay Gunkelman, Dr Doerte Klein, Prof. Juri Kropotov, Prof Cynthia Kerson, Mark Smith, Dr Robert Thatcher and Dr Nick Dogris. In the field of biofeedback and brain stimulation techniques, Nadia studied with Prof. Richard Gevirtz, Dr Tiffany Thompson, Dr. Nick Dogris and Jamie Moore RN.

Nadia is member of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB), the International Society for Neurofeedback Research (ISNR) and a postgraduate member of the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) and the European Federation of Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and attends regularly relevant professional conferences and events to ensure that her expertise is up-to-date with the newest developments in the field.
